Thinking outside the box can mean reassessing cultural messaging about roles and labels. For artists and designers, that could be redefining what a book, or alphabet, or painting can be. For Tania Israel, it was a personal journey toward a deeper understanding of sexuality and orientation. Not everyone fits into one of two boxes – humans are much more interesting than that.
